Lefty Asks the Questions 'Round Here!
Instead of flirting from blog to blog asking questions in the probably overlooked comments areas, I decided I would ask questions of various bloggers here. They can, if they so choose, answer them on their blogs (or in the comments section here) and trackback to this post, thus making us all happy with the page visits which then measure our worth to friends and family...or something like that.
So here are my questions to my various readers/bloggers:
To Gordon D. of Blog This, Pal!:
How long will it be before Cheap Trick shows up in your "Records You Should Own"?
How good is Cheap Trick's new disc?
Is it required that all Chicago-area residents love Cheap Trick (like New Jersians and Springsteen)?
Cheap Trick, the best rock band out of Chicago, or the greatest rock band out of Chicago?
To Roger Green of Ramblin' With Roger:
What is the best concert or festival you've been to in your lifetime?
What music does your daughter enjoy that you are tickled pink that she likes?
I'm formulating my Top Ten Music, what are some ones that might have slipped my eagle-eye gaze?
You have any music that your wife won't let you play when she's around?
To Paul of Paul's Rants & Raves:
What the hell happened to Rod Stewart? It's been what 35 years since he last played great music?
You get to put together the greatest jazz group ever! Living or dead, who would you have in it?
Why do chicks dig Josh Grobin?
Bruce Springsteen & U2, Bruce Springsteen & Neil Young, or Bruce Springsteen & Bob Dylan, which team-up & tour would be the most exciting for you?
To Mike Sterling of Progressive Ruin:
Sure we've all heard the horror stories of comic book retailing, but what would be your "aww shucks" story to warm our hearts and weep manly tears?
Has there been a big event book or series that didn't disappoint and did change the status quo of the characters?
Incredible Hulk versus Swamp Thing, besides the readers, who'd win?
What's your single issue favorite back issue in your collection?
To Elayne of Pen-Elayne on the Web:
What still excites you (other than that talented inker you keep around) about the comic book world?
What issue or issues should the Dems really drive home when they officially take control of Congress next month?
Obama, Hillary, Edwards, Villsack...anyone in that group appeals to you, or there someone else you hope throws their hat into the ring?

Chris, as per usual, you ask goodies!
1. Rod the Mod the freakin' Sod. He sold out for an easy and popular road out of the blues rock that had hit a plateau by '74. While he made a "move", he still fizzled badly. If I could be in a band today, it would be in The Faces.
2. Best jazz lineup? Ouch. I doubt whether they'd all fit, but: Jeff "Tain" Watts on drums, Sonny Rollins, Coltrane, Lester young and Branford on tenor, Satchmo and Miles on trumpet and maybe Freddie Hubbard, Art Tatum on piano and just for the heck of it, Billie singing in front of the boys.
3. Based on today, I'd choose Bruce and Bono!!! Not only for progressive causes but on the storytelling and rocking songs, a coupla Irish guys with a few Guinnesses in 'em? They'd be amazing!!!
