Lefty's Friday Three Questions for October 19th
This might be my last three questions for October. Next Friday I am headed up to the Bay Area to go see Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
Oh, I am now putting up items on eBay. It's time to make some room, and beat down some bills (namely our last huge PG&E summer bill..yikes!). You can check out what I have for sale here. Over the weekend, I will be putting up some more stuff: CDs, DVDs, Comics, a TPBs.
Anyway, it is time for this weeks three questions:
1. Who was the first person you recognized as being beautiful, or even a sexy?
2. What would be one thing you'd change about the internet?
3. If you could travel to one spot on Earth at any time in history, when and where would it be?
Comments
1. Amazingly this is an easy question for me. It was Erin Gray when I first saw her in Buck Rogers (and later Silver Spoons).
2. There's so many, and some of them are really important (like hate speech), but on a practical matter it would be the txt/leet speak in which I have to use wikipedia to translate.
3. You know at first I started thinking about important history events, but in hindsight I want to take several months and explore the western U.S. in the 1500s. I'd love to see how large the Bison herds were. I'd love crossing the Rockies and seeing beauty untouched by the Europeans. Seeing what Yosemite would look like...heck Hetch Hetchy would be an awesome sight to behold.

1. A person I knew: I think it was the 6th or 7th grade. Her name was Ann. Cute blonde girl. Nothing ever happened
though.
A famous person: Alyssa Milano on Who's the Boss. She is on my list.
2. I would eliminate spam and the ability for people to track my web browsing.
3. I would go back to my past and tell myself not to make the mistakes in my life that I had made.

1. I think that would be Farrah Fawcett. I had that popular late 70s t-shirt with a picture of her wearing a red bathing suit sitting in front of what looked like a Mexican blanket.
2. I would eliminate how readily accessible stuff like pornography, or graphic violence is. I realize people are free to chose what suits them, and I am not saying that we should ban it all together, but we could make it a more prohibitive process to obtain.
3. Oxford University, when C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien were profs there and the Inklings were in full swing.

1. External: either Inger Stevens on The Farmer's Daughter or Elizabeth Montgomery on Bewitched. But I had a crush ion a girl named Carol in 2nd grade.
2. Spam, pop-ups.
3. Well, it would depend on the level of interaction. I'm really interested in my father's growing up period.

1. It was either Linda Carter or Erin Gray.
2. Yeah...spam is gone.
3. Amazon jungle...maybe around the 1500s.
