I Come to Wish You A Belated Blogoversary*

*my apologies to The Smiths

It appears I missed my own "blogovesary" on Sunday the 21st. I have now been blogging for four years. Wow. I must admit my output has declined in the past year, especially since my second website and podcast, The Married Gamers, I produce with my lovely wife. No matter how much that sire & podcast takes off, I still love this community and friends I've been very lucky to "meet" over this series of tubes, the internet. If I have more time, I imagine I would pour over the several years of posts (over several now defunct blogspot sites) to pick my favorite posts, but I never got around to it..especially with our laptop out of commission.

So I started on October 23, 2003 as Leftybrown's Corner. That fun lasted at blogspot for a couple years, and after getting fed up with blogspot, and wanting my own corner of the internet of my own, I purchased leftybrown.com. This summer I changed the name of the blog to Lefty Side of the Dial when I started podcasting (and yes I still need to produce more of those when the laptop returns from repair).

In the next year, I hope to publish more, especially produce more podcasts. The 2008 elections will mean more political posting from me. I also have high hopes that this year I'll have posts concerning my wife's health (hopefully as she gets better) and as I try to get her knocked up (um there will be no pictures of podcasts of the attempts). Of course, the next year will bring more of the same. I'll still post Friday 3 Questions, occasional Top Tens, a semiannual Mixed Bag CD exchange, comic book posting, religious posting, and more exhibitions of my cantankerous spirit.

Thanks for reading over the years, and if you're looking for Chris Brown, I'm not him. I'm one of the others ones not involved in music or sports.

Congratulations! Four years? Holy crap. Well done, sir. Well done.

Oh, I thought you were THAT Chris Brown! Confused after all these years...

Congrats.

Wow. Congrats, man. I am feeling all nostalgic now.

Ken! Nostalgic? Like when I used to post about comic books regularly? I still do.....kinda...a little bit.
