Three Questions Theme Week (Day Three)

Three Questions week at Lefty Side of the Dial continues.....


1. I heard of transference of human feelings onto animals and pets, but have you ever transferred human attributes onto non-living objects? If so, what?


2. Have you ever fallen for a myth or urban legend? What was it?


3. When was the last time you felt like you the last one to know? And what was it that you were the last one to know was?

1. Yes numbers. The numbers 1-9 has personalities. 9 was the nicest numbers, but 8...man 8 was a royal asswipe.


2. Yes, the whole pop rocks and coke urban legend.


3. Most recently it was the assignation of Benazir Bhutto. I was wrapped up in watching movies and video games, and didn't catch any news or read a newpaper, so two days after the even I eventually heard, and it just hit me in the gut. I even cried I couldn't believe it.

2. the "get drugged, wake up in a tub of ice, and your kidney is missing" one. when I went to the Sugar Bowl in college, someone told me to watch out for that on Burbon st.

1. Stuffed animals. Very specific voices and personae.
2. I at least wondered about Paul is dead.
3. Feel that way all the time at work. Senior staff agree on something. We have the general staff meeting and the sentence, "As you probably know..." comes up. And almost always, I DON'T!

1. Any home project that doesn't go my way immediately becomes endowed with personality, and I usually threaten to beat the sh*t out of it in retaliation.

2. I cannot think of any urban legend that I fell for. It's not that I am particularly discerning, but I know that kind of stuff circulates and I have a tendency to withhold judgment until some kind of corroboration.

3. I am usually a day behind when it comes to news. Listening to NPR in the morning on the way to work has helped.
