Lefty Is All A Twitter

So we have already recieved our Federal and State tax rebates already. Last Saturday, Mrs. L. and I drove to Tulare to see what the factory outlets had there. Mrs. Lefty scored some nice clothes that look fabulous on her. I was looking for sport shoes, but didn't find anything that I was interested in.

However, I did something that I don't usually do. I bought a new cell phone. I'm not one for cell phones. I like them, but often I can't figure out all the features, and they can't do what I really want them to do. BUT.....I bought a 16G iPhone. I love it!

My friend, Ed Stewart, was an early adopter of the iPhone and after seeing it action I was most impressed with being able to have the internet pretty much anywhere. I've never paid more than $100 for a phone, so after walking out of the AT&T store I did have a belated sense of sticker shock. I know out of our tax refunds I was going to get one big ticket item, and I was close to picking up a PS3...but I dig the iPhone.

So now I need to get contact numbers from all my friends. Please email me with your contact info, and I can give you Mrs. Lefty and my new cell phone numbers. Also if you have a photo you want to send along as well, I can apply it to your contact info, so I can see your smiley face as I dial you up.

One neat thing is I've been starting to Twitter from my iPhone. So if you like you can follow my Twitter updates on the right-side of this blog, our you can follow me here. Now in a couple of weeks I will be going to Wondercon, as a member of the press, and I will be twittering like mad here. I also plan to be recording interviews for The Married Gamers Podcast and the Lefty Side of the Dial Podcast.

So anyway, I've been having fun finding neat iPhone apps for my iPhone. If you have neat tricks or apps I can do with the iPhone why don't you leave a comment. What I really need I a cool RSS reader for the iPhone.

I was going to do a big ticket item like a PS3. Then I actually got my tax return. I didn't even crack $100. *gripe*
