Lefty's Comic Book Wishes

I wish:

+ There was some way to read Legion of Super-Heroes right around issue 300 until it's short demise and Giffen re-launch. I was always attracted to the covers, but my adolescent mind was too intimidated by the perceived grand history of the team.

+ DC would continue to reprint the Animal Man series that followed the Morrison arc in trade paperback.

+ I could read the full run of the Elementals, although I hear we have a better chance to seeing Miracle/Marvelman back in print before we see the Elementals collected in a handy collection.

+ Greg Rucka and Heroes For Hire FTW!

+ A new Dial H for Hero series inspired by the Adventure Comics run with people sending in their design through the DC Comics website (maybe they could even have a in-house Design a Superhero Template they could use).

+ A Return of What The?! to the Marvel line-up.

+ (Keep Your Stones Away From My Glass House) New Comics I can read on my Apple iPhone.

+ Mike Sterling and Gordon Dymowski team-up on a regular comics podcast.

+ The entire New Teen Titans run in color trade paperback.

+ I actually would love to read the entire series of: Atari Force, Micronauts (including the new voyages), the Marvel G.I.Joe series, Crystar, Team America, the Marvel Indiana Jones series, and the DC Star Trek Next Generation series.

+ Swamp Thing back in DCU proper.

+ More frequent Scott Pilgrim books.

+ Absolute Preacher

I'd do a podcast with Sterling on comics...actually, I was thinking of doing like a McLaughlin Group/Politically Incorrect panel-style podcast with several comics bloggers.

Only if our first podcast is about how great All Star Batman is.

Mike,

I see...you're looking for a good Siskel and Ebert take on the podcast.

I'll talk about how great ALL STAR BATMAN is...for cleaning up kitty messes.:)

(just kidding - but it might make good discussion fodder)

Gordon
