Lefty's Friday Three Questions for April 25th
Last Three Questions for April. Every Friday I ask 3 questions, my answers are in the comments section, where you are invited to leave your own responses as well:
1. What movie are most excited for this summer? Any of them NOT a sequel?
2. After the success of Doctor Who, Blake's 7 is coming back to TV on the BBC (and hopefully BBC America). What defunct classic television would you love to see back on television?
3. What celebrity are you left wondering if they are still alive or dead?
Comments
1. It's a toss-up between the new Indiana Jones, and The Dark Knight...and yes both a sequels. Also on my list is the new X-Files movie, which makes me thinking about re-watching the whole series via Netflix.
2. The Avengers, but who could we get to be the new dynamic duo: Steed and Mrs. Peel?
3. Lee Majors, aka The Fall Guy and the Six Million Dollar Man.

1. Indiana Jones (sequel) and Wall-E (not a sequel).
2. Nothing I can think of, but I am rather intrigued by Rog's WKRP suggestion.
3. I generally just check IMDB, so I don't end up wondering very long.
I will admit that I'm still not sure if Roy Orbison is blind or just liked sunglasses.

To the often expressed assumption Roy Orbison was blind ...
For the flight to a concert in Alabama Roy rented a small private airplane. Roy carried his sun glasses in the airplane and put his normal eyeglasses on the seat, because the sun dazzled him.
After the landing Roy left the airplane and forgot his eyeglasses. He noticed it for the first time as the sun went down. Forced by it he performed the evening concert with sun glasses. On the next days he flew to Atlanta, New York, London, in order to open the Beatles-Tour. During the concerts he carried again the sun glasses, which annoyed Roy nevertheless - nobody otherwise thought over it.
The tour became a large success for Roy and the Beatles in Europe and internationally. Afterwards there were pictures of Roy Orbison with sun glasses everywhere on the world - an image was born. It was unintentional and no expression of Coolness. It was simply the result of an error.
[Another story suggested that he wore them to hide the fact that he was homely, which I don't buy.]
